Hi All - We are going to perform this maintenance in the middle of the US morning time where we have found trading activity to be at its lowest.
Start: 2:00 AM ET, July 2nd End: 8:00 AM ET, July 2nd
During this time the Bakkt Crypto trading system will be unavailable for trading, crypto transfers & account opening. (Note FIAT deposit/withdrawals will continue to work as expected)
1. All resting orders in the system will ‘sleep’ at the beginning of the maintenance window as market data will be disabled and will not be marketable when the maintenance is ongoing.
2. Any new orders coming to the system will not execute and will cancel. If you don’t stop order entry, some may look stuck, but you can know that they won’t execute.
3. Our FIX gateway/API endpoints will not be accessible and market data will stop publishing.
4. Once our maintenance is complete, our FIX gateway/API endpoints/market data will re-appear. We expect that your FIX engine will be able to re-connect/connect as normal.
5. We will start accepting and executing trades as normal
No action needs to be taken by your team during this time, you may continue to attempt to connect to our systems while we are down. When our connection is back up, trading will have been restored.
